“On imaginary routes and invented paths, countless characters are confronted with this strange and hard-to-understand thing that life tends to be.
They run around aimlessly and then stop, frozen, stunned by their own existence.
The world is so much. And in between all that we run and stop, we decide on paths, we turn back and in the meantime: how strange, how beautiful and chaotic the path is, we continue.”
In ENTRE TANTO, Constança Duarte juxtaposes the contradictions of everyday life: the constant whirl of the city, the accelerated movement, the daily dance, the stress, the rush and the constant perplexity that meets us when we finally dare to stop. In this scenario of contrasts, the predominance of blue emerges as a silent link – infusing harmony into the diversity of formats, scales and materials – subtly suggesting what brings us together: the common search for direction and meaning.

BIOGRAPHY
Constança Duarte is an illustrator, draws and makes ceramics. She likes to freeze movement in images and reflect on the dichotomy between the rush of everyday life and solitude.
A creator of imaginary worlds, weird creatures and dogs of dubious anatomy, she dedicates herself to analog techniques as a way of preserving error. Uncertainty feeds her curiosity and it is with this that she most often collaborates.
Constança works in different scales and techniques but has a soft spot for blues and grays and for dolls with big ears. Above all, she doesn’t know how to live without making up stories and she doesn’t show much interest in learning either.
