Cátia Freitas is an illustrator, born in Madeira, currently living and working in Lisbon, Portugal. She first graduated in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Coimbra, and then moved to Lisbon. She worked for several years as a pharmacist and, simultaneously, attended a painting course at the Sociedade Nacional de Belas Artes. More recently, she studied illustration at ETIC and graphic design at the Lisbon School of Design. Currently, she attends the painting course at Nextart. Cátia’s passion for Lisbon originates the creation of a series of illustration related to the city.
