Joana Dornellas lives in Lisbon, where she balances family life, a full-time job and her passion for art. After years of believing she had no talent, she overcame her insecurities and started painting. Since then, her works of art have become an expression free of pressure, with an authentic and relaxed nature that makes them so appealing.

Flowers are her theme of choice: they bring her joy, are simple, colorful and gracefully embrace her imperfections. Recently, Joana has ventured into still life and breakfast scenes, inviting us to observe the world in a light and uncomplicated way.
