Com o fogo não se brinca
porque o fogo queima
com o fogo que arde sem se ver
ainda se deve brincar menos
do que com o fogo com fumo
porque o fogo que arde sem se ver
é um fogo que queima
muito
e como queima muito
custa mais
a apagar
do que o fogo com fumo

Fumo – Dylan Silva

Dylan was born in Switzerland in 1993 and studied Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Porto, where he currently lives.
His work encompasses different techniques, such as watercolor painting, oil painting and sculpture.
Inspired by the morphology of the human body, he creates hybrid figures that emerge from a place in memory, like a peninsula that appears in the topography of the images he has created over the years.
In synthesized form, he explores the archetypes of the human body that inhabit his memory. These fragments taken from his imagination are mutations of other bodies, shapes and places.
