Born and raised in Lisbon, Marta Duarte, 44, has a degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon and the National Society of Fine Arts.
Nowadays, she exchanged the noisy and cramped streets of Lisbon for the quiet and green fields of São Miguel Island.
The motto for this collection of drawings: “I bring in the lines the order that the chaos of thought bare.”
