Penso rápido – Tiago Galo
Tiago Galo is a Portuguese illustrator based in Lisbon. He began his work as an illustrator collaborating on small fanzines and exhibitions, before finishing his degree in architecture at the Technical University of Lisbon. In 2011 he won the prize for best comic strip in the Amadora BD competition. After a few years working as an architect, he became involved in a kind of introspective ramble and returned to his work as an illustrator. In 2021 he was one of the winners of the Illustration Exhibition at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
He currently works as a freelance animator and illustrator.
Some of his clients include Nature magazine, Lexus, National Geographic, Penguin Random House, Amazon, Google, BBC Focus, Casa da Música, Vogue, GQ, Time Out, Financial Times, 7UP, Lidl, Deloitte, Pato Lógico, Mother Jones Magazine, Rotary and Condé Nast Traveler.
