Lis is a self-taught Portuguese artist. Who has always shown an interest in the diversity of cultures and traditions that surrounded her. The free use of color is a dominant aspect in her work and it is the way she represents and celebrates the diversity that characterizes our world. Her work has a nostalgic feel to it. She tries to get involved in the artistic process in the same way that a child sits down to draw. With the expectation of putting dreams on paper and drawing the world that a child would like to see.
